I ran into myself today. I have a deep relationship with my LORD. And have experienced many times how wonderfully Holy and Majestic HE is. I have been a witness of many miracles. I learned step by step, by HIS grace to die according to the flesh.
But sometimes He knows better than anyone what the stumbling block is that holds us back to step into a new task or position.
That scouring the flesh is a profound process and that He takes the time to skilfully fillet us. :) The spine should no longer allow us to stand on its own strength, but bend and twist in such a way that we lean only on Him to spiritual speaking, dance with Him. Dancing with Him means that He leads us and we follow.
As most of you know by now, we have lost the Machanayim house (where we helt Bootcamps and Trainings of -aspiring- (religious) leaders.
Many of the belongings literally went up in smoke.
The past six months have been dominated by processing, continuing WANTING TO trust in the LORD and thinking back with melancholy to a time that will never come back.
But today I was confronted with myself. Because of one winter coat and a brooch. Yes, you read that right, ONE winter coat and a brooch with a weapon in it, which has to do with an Israeli family.
I was so happy with both. The beautiful mantle with accessories - hat, scarf, gloves - has only been worn once, the brooch has not even been worn once.
I cried about it, I was angry with the Lord, but I did not notice how important earthly possessions were in my life. And I finally realized this until this afternoon, when the LORD led me to an article on Yaakov's blessings written by a Rabbi. If you click on the name, you can read it for yourself. I'll just use a small part what the LORD used to speak to me and was able to get through to me:
"With this realization, Yaakov can continue on his journey. Only when he understands that wealth and power are not the true blessing is he able to travel forth and to succeed. Now that he fully understands the true nature and significance of the blessings he received from his father, he becomes worthy of the blessings his mother instructed him to acquire. The physical bounty with which he was blessed becomes a tool in the service of the greater blessings of spirituality and holiness. Wealth is not the real gift; rather, true blessing is born of figuring out how to take the physical stuff God gives us and use it to construct our own ladder to heaven.
A blessed life is one, spent climbing the ladder and transforming physical bounty into spiritual wealth."
I really invite you to read the entire article yourself, because it will touch your heart, helping all of us to lay down our life even deeper. Just click on his name underneath this article.
One thing I can add to this article. With the grace of the LORD I am able to understand the spiritual meaning behind the written words out of both books Torah and Brit'Chadashah.
After reading the beautiful article from the respected Rabbi, The LORD gave me another revelation: Yaacov slept with his head on a couple of stones.
Bereshis 28:10 And Ya'akov went out from Beer-Sheva, and went toward Charan. 11 And he reached a certain place, and tarried there, because the shemesh was set; and he took of the avanim of that place, and put them for his pillow, and lay down in that place to sleep.
Sleeping /resting with his head on a rock**** made - of stones-
Stone - our heart of stone will be circumcised to become a heart of flesh.
In the Christian faith Jesus is also called the ROCK*. It means my Savior.
My refresher. My restorer. My deliverer. The“Rock” is the what Christians call "Old Testament" name for Jesus.
And in Tanach* we can read
In Psalm 19:15 of the Tanakh, G-d is referred to as the "Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer or Salvation". In religious terms, the "Rock" means G-d", who protects us, the Jewish people and is the center of our faith.
When we come to the end of our carnal thinking resting in our G-d, our feet will touch the earth, but our heart and soul are in the heavenly realm. Emunah - faith_ will be the result and we will be a ladder ourselves to bring heaven on earth, guided, by the hand of the LORD, so He can perform signs and miracles.
*** Ta· nakh tä-ˈnäḵ variants or less commonly Tanach*. : The Jewish Scriptures comprising the books of law, the prophets, and collected writings compare torah, nevi'im , ketuvim
*I have my coat and hat shawl and gloves back. After I repented, for my behavior, Yochanan my husband and Klarine my daughter found them in the storage, where we have stored our belongings that we still have. We do not have a house but live since the past 6 months in a bedroom in the house of two people of my team.
Climbing Jacob's Ladder; Understanding the blessings of Yaakov.
