Just A Thought.
During my morning reflections today, my mind kept circling around the phrase, "On the one hand, but on the other hand." It seems like a simple sentence, but when you delve deeper, it unravels a lot.
I love my home country and often share updates about everything happening there. However, I also cherish LinkedIn, where I've made many wonderful connections through my coaching and advising, leading to valuable meetings via WhatsApp.
I hold deep affection for my community, yet I also engage in meaningful dialogues with Muslims who share the same desire for peace, among all of us. I am distressed by the ongoing captivity of hostages and the rising hatred, but this morning, I read an uplifting message:
"From day one, October 7, 2023, and everything that has happened since then, Said & Lody have visited schools, navigating through the war in Israel, Gaza, Palestine, and Lebanon, and the confrontations in our own country. Never, not even once, have we encountered a situation where we couldn't discuss the story of the Holocaust."
In my prayers, I seek wisdom on how to share the truth while considering LinkedIn's business-oriented nature. How can I share messages from my home country alongside constructive messages about unity and what connects us?
One message of hate and the call for "The Final Solution" brings so much darkness, fear, and anger.
So today, I write this down and ask the G-d of Avraham, Yitzchak, and Yaakov for wisdom—HIS wisdom—because for me, it begins and ends with this thought:
